 When Leon Edwards made history of his own on Saturday in the main event of UFC 278 at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kamaru Usman was just a minute away from making history himself.


With 56 seconds left in the fight, Edwards caught Usman with a left kick to the head. Usman was about to win. Usman lost right away, and Edwards triumphantly claimed the UFC welterweight championship. Usman was never followed to the ground by him. He started the celebration by raising his arms in the air.
